am 67 years old and was born and bred in Wigan.  I used to be a Lab Technician at Wigan Infirmary.  I worked for 12 years at a lab in Blackpool.

I was also a drummer and have played in many and varied bands etc.  I started drumming with The St John Ambulance Brigade Bugle band when I was 14..  My first band was a 50s rock group called The Chordites.  As all the members are still around and alive and kicking , we are about to produce a 50th anniversary concert at the Sacred Heart Club in Springfield on Friday 23rd May.
