Sunday Afternoon 18th January: Pig Racing at Marsh Green Labour Club.
Was disappointed with yesterdays turn out but those that did turn up managed to turn it into a very good afternoon in total we managed to raise a further £115.50. Thank you all for your support.
Last week I received a phone call from Lowri Beck in Wigan who have offered to supply printed Hi Vis coats for all the riders and I would like to say thank you to them.
On Saturday evening I spoke to John & Phil of John Martin Sound formerly from the Riverside at Central Park Wigan. I hope to book this group for the great evening planned for the end of July to celebrate the end of the bike ride and a year of fund raising for the British Heart Foundation.
There are two more events planned these are Friday 30th January. Pig Racing to be held at The Last Orders. City Rd. Kitt Green. and the 2nd event to be held on Saturday 31st January at Marsh Green Labour Club. this is a Auction of household items. A Raffle including the prize of a caravan holiday for up to 10 people followed by 3 Artists providing live entertainment. Free Food is also available.
I’m unsure when the next events will be as we have had news that my sister is very very poorly and also we suffered the loss of my cousin last week.
