Pleased to announce we have now got two companies to sponsor the bike ride. Veolia Environmental Services and also A. Hughes & Son. My wife and I went up to Glasgow on Friday and drove back along the proposed cycle route. There are one or two changes to be made to the route for safety reasons and we believe that Thursday the 4th day of the ride will be the most gruelling. Although there are no places available on the bike ride anyone wishing to join us for a short ride can join us at different points of the ride, ie Kendal to Lancaster, Standish to Wigan.
