ShutterNutters Xmas trip

We have a trip out between Xmas and New year - and it piddles down - always. However, that doesn;t stop us having a great day and great banter with like-minded pals!

Lots of cafe stops and then the pub - but in between I got a few snaps.

45 years young!

I feel like a 25 year old trapped in a 65 year old's body - which averages out at me real 45 years so I guess that's ok

A drive up around Carnforth and Kirby Lonsdale areas this afternoon - lots of mist about up there!

Manic week!

I've taken over 2000 photos this week - for work - and about 6 for me!

Here's hoping for some decent weather this weekend so I can get some more! Sunday morning looks promising according to the Met Office - so I may do a dawn dash up to the Lakes and see if i can get some nice landscapes!

Another gloomy weekend!

I spent yesterday working - photograophing Xmas events at Golborne ASDA. VERY brave young cheerleaders dancing and leading about on wet tarmac - yikes! Then onto Hindley Market Square for their Xmas swithc on event - which when I got there had been cancelled due to the weather. I dunno - a bit of drizzle and the place falls to bits

I managed a couple of hours at Pennington Flash this afternoon with a few fellow camera buffs. Dull and gloomy - but a few ok shots - see below...

It's been a  busy week this week!

I've taken loads of photos this week - but alas, all work and none for me!

• Urban Design Awards at Wigan Investment Centre with local businesses, The Mayor etc.
• Xmas lights switch on events in Golborne, Tyldesley and Ashton
• Photographing the route and access points for the new(ish) Whelley Loop Line footpath from Atherton Road, Hindley to Wigan Lower Plantations.

Driving day today! I left home at 8am and drove down to Cambridge to pick my eldest daughter up from University. She's home until January. It's GREAT to have her back

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can I have some nice weather tomorrow so that I can get out and take some photos for ME? PLEAAAAAAASE?
