Hello and welcome to my blog, I live in the northwest of England in a town once famous for coal mining, and for having the only inland pier in the country, the town of Wigan, in the county of Lancashire, England. I first started my journey into photography twenty years ago in the days of 35 mm film cameras ,developing film in the bath with a blanket over the window. I remember the excitement of waiting for the negatives to be developed so that I could see the results of all my hard work. I was really pleased with the pictures that I took back then, and spent my days dreaming of becoming a professional photographer earning a living from doing the thing that I enjoyed the most, however the real world rudely interrupted this dream, and I had to get a job. I now run my own plastering business, but still dream of being a professional photographer!
