had a very good day in southport yesterday, the lazy way by train.went to wesley st music shop for a chat about old guitars.trying to find out what the finish is on early 50s hofner guitars. i had dinner (lunch) at the place next door very nice clean  good  food and service. sat near the railway station and heard two blokes playing guitars both in there 60s very nice wish i could play like that.
